More success for the clubs triathletes this time as a team at the Eastern region club relays.

Held at Gosfield lake on Sunday Lee Sole, Julia Jepson and Ben Mickleburgh formed a strong mixed team to compete against 115 other teams at this popular event. Each athlete had to in turn complete a 750m open water swim followed by a 20k undulating bike section and then a testing 5k run.

All three members put in very solid performances but thanks to an excellent fast bike leg by Ben the team had a good lead going into the run which they managed to hold onto resulting in a CLEAR VICTORY  in the mixed category.

Overall the team finished 14th which considering the very high standard of the competition was fantastic. You can see the full list of results if you click on Eastern region relays.
