Suffolk Punch cancelledYou don't need a weather forecast to see that today's reliability trial isn't going to take place. A look out of the window is all it takes. The snow came 24 hours too early. It's disappointing, but life goes on. Suffolk Punch 2012 isn't cancelled, it's postponed. We will reschedule it for another Sunday. The date will be confirmed soon, when we've looked at the events' calendar. The road between Felsham and Hessett is closed for repairs for three weeks from Monday February 13, so that has to be taken in to consideration. Watch this space. For four consecutive years riders from West Suffolk Wheelers travelled to the Italian coastal town of Cesenatico for spring training camps. In 2010 we had a change and went to Girona, Spain, but for 2011 we returned to Hotel Riz in Cesenatico for some more of that fabulous Italian hospitality. The Riz offers unrivalled value for money, and for 2012 prices stay the same as 2011. Feedback from riders who were part of the April trip has been very favourable, and so it’s back to Italy again in 2012.
