On Wednesday last week we learnt that we had been awarded the BBC Look East Sports Club of the Year Award !!

With less than 24 hours notice we were asked to a gather together some representatives of the club to accept the award in front of the TV cameras at the Abbots Hall School in Stowmarket, where the school was receiving their award for Primary School of the Year.

You may have seen the coverage that this generated on Look East on Thursday, in which they also used some group riding shots they took earlier this year, and an interview on Radio Suffolk. The East Anglian Daily Times were also there.

The BBC Look East Sports Club of the Year Award itself is an impressive engraved glass block, and it will look good in our Trophy cabinet, alongside our St Edmundsbury and Suffolk Awards.

Well done to all members for playing their part in gaining us these three most prestigious awards.
