A Club for all reasons

The Club, formed in 1922, is based in Bury St Edmunds and has produced many good riders over the years.We have a good cross-section of cycling on offer to welcome new and experienced cyclists alike.

If you wish to learn bike handling skills for on and/or off-road cycling our members have the knowledge and experience to teach you. The Club is proud of it's development work with young people, and we have coaches to guide new cyclists in their training

Tuesdays in autumn/winter: Turbo Training  7pm     Denny Bros Ltd

Tuesdays from 6.30pm: Go Ride for age 8 upwards:- April 22nd onwards, Priory School, Mount Road, Bury St Edmunds. £2 per night or £10 membership or £40 family membership. Contact Barry Denny on 01284 386409 [Link]

Wednesdays for Wheelers is a midweek club-run. It leaves from the bus shelter near the Post Office in Thurston at 9 am and the run covers between 50 and 60 miles. For further information, please contact Justin Wallace

Thursdays (April onwards) : Evening Time Trial series on local roads, not the A14.

Alternate Saturdays: Leisure Ride (all abilities; approx 25 miles) Noon   Moreton Hall CC

Alternate Saturdays in autumn/winter: Go Ride/Parents ride 1pm     Moreton Hall CC

Sundays ‘Expresso’ Club Run (approx 55 miles 18mph) 9am Woolworths
‘Cappuccino’ Club Run (approx 40 miles 15mph) 9.30 Nowton Park

Training weekends, roller racing, social rides and events.
