West Suffolk Wheelers and Tri Club on the telly!
Thanks to all members that turned out on Wednesday 17th Feb for the TV recording about the Suffolk Sport Grant for Cycling. As everyone that attended will know, we put on a show of Go Ride Skills, Turbo Training and Road Riding, and spent about 45 minutes with the presenter and camera man. Inevitably most of the material wasn’t used, but we did get excellent coverage through out the day on Thursday. I have reports that we appeared at least three times on the early morning local news reports, featured on the Look East programme at 6.45, and further shots of us on again at 10.30 pm.
The news item was certainly good news for cycling in Suffolk and the coverage must have helped public awareness of the issue, and of the West Suffolk Wheelers and Tri Club in particular.
Well done everyone, especially Helen Ballam for making the arrangements.
