Aldeburgh Dawn Ride
Given the early start and the distance I treated myself to the full 'Suffolk Breakfast' including toast, butter and a rather nice marmalade. The service was excellent and the food even better and with a water station to replenish drinks bottles what a find! It gets even better, after sending an email thanking them we received an email back suggesting next time we visit a 10% discount will be offeredâ¦.result!
We left shortly after nine oâclock and had a club photo taken on Maggi Hambling's 12ft-high scallop shell memorial to Benjamin Britten we travelled home on a completely different route which was courtesy of Richard âTomTomâ Seggar who safely got us home just after 1 oâclock which wasnât bad given it was fatherâs day and Summer Solstice. We are planning another trip starting early morning later in the year, suggestions please.
