Dawn Raid Part 2 – Aldeburgh
After the success of the Dawn Raid to Felixstowe the club is arranging another early morning start to Aldeburgh on Sunday 22nd August. Leaving Moreton Hall Community Centre at 6 a.m. and travelling to Thurston and on to Aldeburgh arriving at approximately 9 am. After a quick turnaround we aim to get back to Bury for 1.30pm. Culford Triathlon 25 July 2010
Culford triathlon held on Sunday 25th July 2010 was yet another event in our clubs short triathlon history which we benefited from great publicity and another bumper medal haul.
Well done to everyone who competed on yet another well run event.
Ipswich tri club have certainly got the format right which we can hopefully learn from when we host our very own.
There where 200 athlete's (loosely speaking) competing, 21 of which where West Suffolk Wheelers & Tri club members. Incredibly 10 of our club had already pulled out for varying reasons,including myself! Just imagine 31 of us,WOW and we've only been tri club for 7 months :).
Youth Hostel Weekend - Sheringham

It’s been a busy week for WSW & Triathlon Club.
Monday saw a host of club riders meeting on the Angel Hill to meet with Simon Bourne and his colleagues who had ridden from Gibraltar, in honour of Luke Southgate who was recently killed in action in Afghanistan. Our riders accompanied Simon and the others to RAF Honington where there was an official reception.
Grass Track Racing
Our annual Grass Track race meeting takes place on August 8th
at Priory School, Mount Road
starting at 11am.
As usual the track will comprise a 300 metre oval on the sports field, and the meeting will include a mixture of events, ranging from one lap sprints to the 8k endurance race, and including other favourites such as team sprints and a Madison.
