WSW Grass Track 2
Neil Withington from Carlisle was the man to beat on the 200 metre track at the Priory School, Bury St Edmundsand Paul Carter (Team Welwyn) was the only man that did, in the 800 metres.
Withington dominated everything else, with very impressive wins in two 5 kilometre races.
Partered by Mildenhall riderKeith Richardsonhe also stole a last lap victory in the Madison, just overhauling the Welwyn pairing of Simon Layfield and Paul Carter who had led from the gun.
Laura Bissell (Team Welwyn) was the most successful lady rider, and Ipswich Junior Paul Watts also impressed.
Dan Hunt was the fastest of the local youngsters in the Novice Freewheel events.
