Splash and Dash – 9th July2011
13 members and friends took part on the first Splash and Dash of 2011. The swim was 300m with a cut down run of approx 3.5 km (although Jill managed to do the extended circuit of 5.5km!). A well earned drink in the bar followed the event. All in all a very pleasant evening was had by all.
The event was won by Iain Milligan who pipped Ben Mickleburgh to be crowned tonight’s champion.
The next splash and dash will be in August, date to be advised. Come along and have some fun!
